The four hour program will air over three nights on PBS in Feb. and March.

Lowell Bergman is the correspondent.  More after the jump.

Other interview excerpts online include former LA Times editor Dean Baquet, Ted Koppel, Daily Show head writer David Javerbaum talking about "the sorry state of broadcast news" (a segment of the show goes behind the scenes at TDS), Dan Rather, Bill Keller, and Dana Priest.

Bergman also interviewed vlogger Josh Wolf.

The first two hours on Feb. 13 and 20, Secrets, Sources, and Spin examine current media debates and coverage of the Bush administration.

It looks like Markos may be in  the Feb. 27 show, What Happened to the News? which focuses on the LA Times and is produced by Steve Talbot who I worked for many years ago at the Center for Investigative Reporting (which Bergman co-founded).

The final hour on March 27, Stories from a small planet looks at Al Jazeera and South Korea's Oh My News.  It is part of Frontline/World which Steve supervises.

All past Frontline/World stories are online and Bergman's previous documentaries for Frontline which are online include The Enemy Within, Chasing the Sleeper Cell, Secret History of the Credit Card, and A Dangerous Business.

He was also interviewed about his experience at 60 Minutes for an earlier Frontline on media, Smoke in the Eye (it isn't online, but there is an extensive website).

They will be speaking at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco on Jan. 11th.  Audio will be online and many radio stations carry the programs and it is also now a podcast (details).
